Barceloneta, famed for their Spanish Mediterranean influenced tapas and home to the city’s renowned G+T’s.

Named after a little town in Puerto Rico, founded by Pubbelly Chef José Mendin’s great grandfather and also inspired by a popular fishing neighborhood of the same name in Barcelona. Both now vibrant and trendy towns, much alike to our Sunset Harbour restaurant. The name was fitting (although, slightly conflicting with co-owner Manuel Suarez-Inclan’s Madrid roots … he did however put his soccer rivalry aside!).

At the helm of Barceloneta’s bustling kitchen is Chef Juliana Gonzales, an aficionada of blending spice into her dishes, enthused by the exotic flavors she discovered while traveling the wonders of Turkey’s lively food scene. She redefines Spanish Mediterranean cuisine, infusing new ingredients into her seafood, meat and rice dishes, creating an elegant and elevated style of tapas and platillos, that is served family style.



Barceloneta’s wine collection is exclusively Spanish as well as many of the liquors. Created by co-owner Daniela Rezai, the trendsetters of Barceloneta’s LaBarra menu are their renowned G+T’s, notorious in Miami, they encompass character and flair with their citrusy, flowery tastes and aromas. Served in the traditional over-sized brandy glass, they offer a revitalized version of the classic cocktail.



A diverse city, Miami Beach radiates a multicultural vibe. The Barceloneta owners love this cosmopolitan attitude and have this flowing throughout their restaurant. The venue is usually still bursting with guests even at 1 AM, the kitchen takes last orders at midnight and the bar will only close once the last guest leaves. No last call here!
